Helenendorf settlement

Later, in 1857, it was decided to build the first Lutheran church in the region, so 3 years later the Kirche succesfully was erected and was named the Church of St. John.

The inhabitants were successfully engaged in agriculture and set up a wine factory, which became popular not only in the district but also outside the country. Subsequently, most of the inhabitants left the region due to the beginning of the Second World War.
